What is philippe villers?

Philippe Villers was a French-American entrepreneur and advocate for consumer access to affordable healthcare. He was born on December 9, 1945, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Villers received his undergraduate degree from Ecole Centrale Paris and his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

In 1974, Villers founded Computervision Corporation, a pioneering computer-aided design and manufacturing company. Under his leadership, the company expanded globally and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 1981. Villers left Computervision in 1986.

In 1997, Villers co-founded the not-for-profit organization Families USA, which aimed to improve access to affordable healthcare for Americans. He was a leading advocate for healthcare reform, particularly the Affordable Care Act, and served on various health policy boards and committees.

Villers passed away on March 4, 2016, at the age of 70. He was widely recognized for his contributions to healthcare policy and advocacy, and his legacy continues to inspire those fighting for affordable healthcare for all.
